My name is David Dattile and I'm currently studying 2D design at Futuregames in Stockholm.
I grow up in Italy but I lived in Stockholm since 2011.
I have a background in graphic design and 2D illustration along with my passions for comics, cartoons and games.
The love for my family is the fuel for my works.

My role in this project was to help the Designers with concept art and UI

Escape from Castle Galdor is a VR game where you play as a imprisoned wizard and you have to find your way out by solving puzzles and crafting spells in order to defeat your enemies.

My role in this project was to design the UI interface and the charactersin order to find the right art style for this game.
Late 1990's All adults are gone, and only children remain. This can only mean one thing...
Schools out forever!
Escaping to a world of fun and cotton candy, these kids have set up shop at an abandoned theme park. They now spend their days riding rollercoasters, playing dressup and NOT going to bed. The children have invented a game where they play fight over candy in designated parts of the park. Roam the theme park to find sweets and drop them off in your home base to score points. However, candy is heavy, and will slow you down. making you an easy target for the other kidz. speaking of which, if there is no candy laying around you can always get it by smacking the other ones to make them drop theirs. because as we all know love starts with a fight right?Candy is of course also available from the other childrens bases. BUT… Watch out for the makeshift turrets that are placed in each base. Once in awhile the turret can also be supercharged to rain high-velocity water ballons on those who try to steal the precious candy, giving them an involuntary bath. Well………. To the winner go the spoils, but at the end of the day there is no reason not to share, right? It’s not like the sweets are going to run out anytime soon.
MAYPOLE MADNESS

My role in this project was to create Ui and game assets
Maypole Madness is a mobile Puzzle game made in collaboration with King.
In this game, the player has the goal to build a unique Maypole in the best way. Each level has different requirements in Height and Style of the Maypole. The player fulfills those requirements by linking and matching as many height and as many style elements as possible.
Player has to fulfill the level’s Maypole requirements within a finite number of moves, to proceed to the next level. Players can replay older levels to improve their score (they can choose to do taller maypoles or more stylish maypoles). At the end of each level, the player can have an overview of the Maypole they built and can share a screenshot with their friends online.

FutureGames is a two year long higher vocational game development education located in Stockholm, Sweden.Â
At FutureGames i'm training as 2D artist, concept Artist, 2D animator. UI-UX designer and working on softwares like Photoshop,Illustrator,Unity and Maya.
BERGHS SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION

15 weeks distance course.The course is divide in three steps:Â Basics, Tasks and future . I've develop practical and theoretical skills about colours, composition and ideas for visual communication and illustration.

Nemo is a private academy located in Florence (Italy). In these two years i've learned traditional and digital techniques for concept design storyboard and comics.

FREELANCE JOBS
I've worked as freelance 2D artist with difference tasks, for startups like Peppy Pals where i did character illustrations and app icons.
LANGUAGES AND COMPUTER SKILLS
I'm fluent in English and Swedish,Italian mother tongue and a good level of Spanish, both in writing and speaking.
The softwares where i'm more comfortable are Photoshop and Illustrator but i have good knowledge on Maya and Unity too.
INTERNSHIP
I have performed an internship for 6 months at Filimundus, a company  making game for young kids
EXTRA EXPERIENCES
As  student i worked also for short periods as entertainer for a touristic village and as receptionist for a hotel in the center of Florence.

I've spend big time of my life in the restaurant business,doing all kinds of roles from waiter to manager and owner
